8 Categories of students Found On Campuses

Today in campuses a lot of groups are everywhere and
some are still to come We are going to list and explain the
types of groups in campuses today, their characters and
also what they do.
Below are 8 groups that are found in campuses today
written by Quintech
The Occultist:
More than ever before, the campuses have been engulfed
in occultic activities leading not only to destruction of
property and disruption of academic activities, but also
loss of precious lives. There has been increase both in
diversity and sophistication of cults on the campus.
Majority of the students involved in occultic practice are
not known since their activities are carried out in secrecy.
However, their population has been on the increase and
they have constituted themselves into a resistant group.
The Sophisticates':
This group of people are known by their “Queen English”,
extravagance, attendance in social activities both in and
out of the campus. They scantily dress and engage in and
sponsor immorality of various types.
The Foreign Students:
This group of student find it difficult integrating
themselves into the campus life due to barriers of
nationality. This is especially true for people from Asian
country.
The Book Worms:
The are given various names such as “rigour majors”,
“efficos”, Ambishos”. They are seen always going to the
library, lecture halls and classrooms. To them they have
come to study. Anything outside that is of little or no
importance. They rarely attend any social function
including religious activities.
The Moralists and normal Christians:
This is perhaps the most evangelized people group on the
campus. They readily attend Christain programmes’ and
are not generally hostile to the gospel message. However,
some of them do not yield to the gospel because of their
unwillingness to leave their denomination or out of the
belief that they could be justified by in good works or
morals.
Student activities and opinion leaders:
These are the “life wire” of the campus. They are
generally outgoing, outspoken and analytical. They believe
they know the way and others should follow them. Due to
their political consciousness, it is not uncommon to find
them as leaders in various associations on the campus.
They are generally friendly. However, they may be difficult
to reach, not because of their unwillingness to accept the
gospel, but because they will not normally have time to
attend Christian programmes. To them, the worth of every
relationship and association is always measured by how
much it enhances their political ambition. Some may
attend Christian fellowship once a while but not with the
intention of becoming committed Christians’ but to use it
as a means to an “end “
Religious Modernizers:
Some crop of Pentecostal/Christians fellowship groups on
the campus today aremaking it difficult for sinners to
appreciate the gospel message. Apart from the profession
of their life styles to distinguish them from the
unbelievers. Members of these groups are very difficult to
reach. They readily mention the fellowship they belong to
and fact that they too are Christians’.
They pray, speak in tongues and talk about faith in God.
Their reasoning is that, if they weren’t Christain, they
wouldn’t have been “baptized” in the Holy Spirit. If God
recognizes them as Christians by “baptizing” them in the
Holy Spirit, how come you say they are not born again.
Members of other Religious group:
Almost all false religious groups in the country are now
represented on the campus. They are generally hostile to
the gospel. They do not attend Christian gatherings and
are always argumentative when confronted with the facts
of the gospel.
They do not easily tell people their relogious affiliation but
may be easily detected in their argument.
Lets be truthful to our self.
WHAT GROUP DO YOU BELONG TO?
